I'm selling my 1986 F-150, 4X2, Base model, long bed, regular cab, work truck. My dad bought it new and passed it down to me in 2011. It's been a California truck for 22 of its' 39 years, with the remainder of the time spent sitting at my parents house in Northern Nevada. I've been slowly restoring it for the last 13+ years. It still has the original, legenday, 4.9 liter straight 6 engine with manual transmission. It runs well, and I still drive it to work on Saturdays and use it when I need a pickup truck. It has always been a work truck and therefore has its' share of small dents and dings. It has dealer installed A/C, but it is not currently working right now. I have the original owner's manual and original 2 sets of keys. I recently had the seats re-upholstered with the closest thing I could find to original cloth. A new carpet kit installed (original was vinyl floor). New shift boot and replaced all the instrumentation lamps. I did have to add non-original clips in the windshield trim to hold the sun visors up, because they just droop down right in your face otherwiswe, making it difficult to drive. I'm hoping to find a good home for this truck which has been a part of my life for almost 40 years and is the source of a lot of great memories of my dad, my brother and I riding to work together for many years.
