Mercedes-Benz introduced their W210 based wagons in 1997 (1998 in North America). This series of cars are known as the S210 featured a new quad headlight design theme that would become used throughout the company's range for many years. Produced until 2003, the S210 saw a mid-life facelift for 1998. The S210 Wagon was available with either an inline four, inline six, V6, or V8 engine. Variants included the E200, E320, E240, E280, E320 4MATIC, E430, E430 4MATIC, E220 CDI, E290 Turbodiesel and the E55 AMG Wagon. The S210 E-Class wagon was replaced by the third generation Mercedes-Benz S211 E-Class Wagon.
