The Mercedes-Benz E350 BlueTEC was a diesel powered variant of the W212 Sedan that debuted for the 2010 model year. The E 350 BlueTEC was powered by Mercedes' OM642 DE30 engine, which was a turbocharged 3.0L V6. This engine was initially paired to a 7 speed automatic, but from the 2014 model year, a 9 speed automatic became standard. An all wheel drive version of the E350 BlueTEC known as the W212 Mercedes-Benz E350 BlueTEC 4MATIC was also offered. Production of the W212 Mercedes-Benz E350 BlueTEC lasted until 2016.
