The second series of Mercedes-Benz W110 sedan was introduced for the 1966 model year. This series of W111-based sedans included three variants: the 200, the 230, and the 200D. The 200 featured a slightly larger version of the M121 engine found in the first series' 190c. The 230 was the only W110 variant to feature an inline 6 engine, with a 2.3L unit installed. The diesel variant, the 200D was powered by an OM621 inline 4 engine, largely similar to that used in the first series 190Dc. Built until 1968, the W110 sedan was followed by the W114 & W115.
