The BMW 320i was a variant of the F30 3 Series that was introduced for the 2013 model year. The 320i was available in Sedan (F30), Wagon (F31), or Gran Turismo (F34) body styles, and was initially powered by BMW's N20B20 engine. This turbocharged 2.0L inline four had an output of 181hp that was sent to the rear wheels via a 6 speed manual or an 8 speed automatic transmission. From the 2016 model year, this engine was replaced by BMW's new B48B20M0, which was also a turbocharged 2.0L inline four with 181hp, but featured an improved power curve as well as more torque than the previous engine (North America kept the N20 engine). Production of the F30 BMW 320i ended in 2019 when BMW introduced the G20 BMW 3 Series.
