2003 BMW E46 M3 in Titanium Silver with M-Texture interior and a 6 speed manual transmission. Optioned with Harman Kardon sound, split folding rear seats, sunroof, Xenon headlights, Brushed Aluminum trim and manual M-Texture seats.

The E46 M3 comes with a 3.2L inline 6 cylinder S54 that makes 333hp. Paired with a true manual 6 speed transmission from the factory.

The build date of this M3 is 7/2003 which makes it an LCI model with updated front corner lights and the more sought after LED taillights.

History

This E46 M3 has had two California owners from new. The first had the car from 2003 until 2005. The second owner had the car for 19 years from 2005 until purchased by Bay 22 in December 2024.

Modifications

The car comes with a few rare Dinan items including; E46 M3 specific staggered 19x9, 19x.5 Dinan spec Champion wheels, Dinan rear strut bar, Dinan front sway bar, Dinan lowering springs and Bilstein shocks/struts. The front chrome kidney grills have been replaced with a black set along with the side fender vents.

Recent Services

A couple of recent big services have been done to this M3. The first was in July 2024 in which the valve cover gasket was changed, brake fluid flush, spark plugs replaced, oil and filter and oxygen sensors.

The second service was performed on 1/24/2025 in which I had the rod bearings replaced using ACL bearings and OEM BMW rod bolts. This also included a handful of surrounding parts including oil pan gasket, oil pan cover screen and gasket, oil pump seal, seal and oil level sensor gasket. The oil was replaced with Liqui Moly 10W60 and a Mahle filter. The differential was also serviced by replacing the input shaft seal with an updated part along with Liqui Moly 75W140 gear oil and both drain and fill plugs.

The brakes look to have just been replaced including rotors and pads. The pads show 12mm bonded front and rear. The tires on the Dinan wheels are Firestone Indy 500 with 2020 date codes and read 9/32 up front and 8/32 in the rear.

Condition

The condition of this M3 shows extremely well inside and out for the age. It looks like a car with less than half the mileage. The paint shines very nicely without and fading. Very few rock chips up front.

It does have the typical E46 M3 rear window seal degradation and the rear view mirror auto-dimming has failed causing the glass to become distorted.

The headliner is in great shape with no signs of sagging. The M-Texture seats are also in really nice shape with no rips or cuts. The interior still has the classic BMW smells from the era.
