The Vauxhall Victor debuted in 1958 as the successor to the Cresta and Wyvern. It was a large-sized sedan by European standards and could be bought in a four-door sedan or wagon body style. These cars were available with an inline four or six-cylinder engine. The Victor was built in five evolutions. The F (1958-61), FB (1961-64), FC (1963-67), FD (1967-72), FE (1972-78). After twenty years of production, the Victor was replaced by the Vauxhall Cavalier.
