In 1949, the Vauxhall Velox was introduced. The car was the successor to the Vauxhall 14-6, with radically different in styling. The Velox looked in all aesthetic ways like the competition in America. It was produced as a sedan and coupe and was popular enough to last across four generations, 1st Gen (LIP and LBP 1948-1951), 2nd Gen (EIP/EIPV & EBP 1951–57), 3rd Gen (PA 1957–62), and 4th Gen (PB 1962–65). The Vauxhall Velox was built until 1965 and was succeeded by the Vauxhall Cresta PC.
