The Packard Single Eight was a full size luxury car introduced for the 1924 model year. The Single Eight took the engine from the Packard Single Six and added two more cylinders to create a 5.8L inline eight engine producing 85hp. Packard offered a short and long wheelbase for the Single Eight, as well as a wide range of open and closed body styles, including coachbuilt options. The Packard Single Eight was only available in 1924, before the model became the Packard Eight.
