The Opel Senator was a mid-size sedan that was introduced for the 1979 model year. The Senator was only ever offered in a sedan body style, and was built across two generations (1979-1986, 1987-1993). These front engined cars were equipped with a range of inline six powerplants, which drove the rear wheels through manual or automatic gearboxes. The Opel Senator was in production until 1993.
