The Opel Monza was a series of compact fastback coupes that were introduced for the 1979 model year. The Monza, which was sold in the UK as the Vauxhall Royale Coupé, was built in two generations: A1 (1979-1982) and A2 (1983-1986). These rear wheel drive cars were available with inline four and inline six engine options, as well as manual or automatic transmissions. Production of the Opel Monza lasted until 1986.
