The Opel Manta was a series of compact sports cars that were introduced for the 1971 model year. Over the course of production, the rear wheel drive Manta was offered in a two door coupe body style that was fitted with a wide range of inline four engines. The Manta was built in three main generations: A (1971-1975), B (1976-1981), and B2 (1982-1988).
