The Skyline GT-R Nismo was a limited production variant of the R32 Nissan Skyline that was introduced for the 1990 model year. The Nismo, short for Nissan Motorsports, was created in order to homologate various updates to the Skyline GT-R for Group A racing. Some of these changes included improvements to the aerodynamics, weight-saving, and upgraded and more durable turbos. The R32 GT-R Nismo was only available in Gun Grey Metallic, and saw a total of 560 examples built. 500 were available for sale, while the remaining 60 were set aside to build as race cars.
