The Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG Sedan was one of two body styles offered for the W202 C43 AMG (alongside the C43 Wagon). Introduced for the 1998 model year, the C43 AMG Sedan was powered by Mercedes' M113 E43 engine. This 4.3L V8 engine had an output of 302hp that drove the rear wheels through an AMG-tuned 5 speed automatic transmission. The C 43 Sedan was the most common of the two body styles built, comprising about 80% of production. Production of the W202 Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG Sedan lasted until 2000.
