The Ford Aerostar was a family of minivans that debuted for the 1986 model year. Noted for its distinct slope-nosed design, the Aerostar was offered with a selection of inline four or V6 powerplants, with manual or automatic transmission options. Most Aerostars were offered in XL or XLT trim, but other variants such as the Eddie Bauer and Sport were also available. Production of the Ford Aerostar lasted until 1997.
