The Citroën M35 was a two-door coupe derived from the Ami 8 launched by Citroën in 1969. The M35 was powered by a 0.5L single rotary engine produced by Wankel, capable of producing 49bhp and 50lb⋅ft of torque, sending power to the front wheels. The M35 was a prototype and only 267 units were built and given to loyal customers for testing. Even though the M35 was never massively produced, many of its innovations were found in future Citroën models such as the rotary engine in the GS Birotor.
