The DS 21 Cabriolet was the upgraded version for the DS19 Cabriolet, available from the 1965 model year. The main change for this Cabriolet version, also known as "d'Usine" meaning "from the factory," was an upgraded powertrain from 2.0L inline-four to a more powerful 2.1L inline-four. The DS21 Cabriolet was produced together with Henry Chapron, a renowned French coachbuilder that was already building customized version of the DS in different body styles including Cabriolet variants for people that was looking for something unique. The DS 21 Cabriolet ended production in 1972.
