The Chevrolet Suburban 12th generation, also known as the GMC Yukon XL, was introduced in 2021 as the longest SUV in the extended length segment. Sharing the GMT T1XX platform with the Silverado 1500 and using the choice of three different engines; V8 325ci, V8 376ci or 3.0L turbo diesel I6. The different possible trims were the basic LS, LT and Premier Levels (Z71 and RST).
