The 3rd generation Cadillac Seville came to production in 1986 with a facelift that made it more appealing to the public, given that sales of the 2nd generation were below expectations. The new Seville was offered with three different V8 engine capacity; a 4.1l, 4.5L and the largest being a 4.9L. Power was sent to the front wheels through a 4-speed automatic transmission. Production of the 3rd generation was ended when it was facelifted once again in 1991.
