The fourth generation of BMW 6 Series, known as the G32, was introduced for the 2018 model year. While previous generations of the 6 Series had focused on capable grand tourers, the G32 marked a shift in BMWs model lineup. The G32 6 Series became a series of luxury 4 door liftback sedans, while the new grand tourers were rebranded as the G15 8 Series. Both diesel and gasoline powerplants were availble for the G32, as well as rear wheel drive or all wheel drive (xDrive).
