The BMW L6 was a luxury variant of the BMW E24 6 Series that was introduced for the 1987 model year. The L6 was largely a more well-appointed version of the 635CSi, featuring the same 182hp M30B34 inline six engine, although it was only available with a 4 speed automatic transmission. Among other changes the L6 featured was a leather headliner and additional trim. The BMW L6 was only offered for the 1987 model year in the North American market.
