The Austin Eighteen was a family of cars introduced in 1937. The Eighteen, named for its taxable horsepower, was a series of full size cars available in a standard or long wheelbase. These cars were offered in saloon body styles, including a long wheelbase version with a partition. The Eighteen featured a 2.5L inline six engine, which sent power to the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual transmission. Production of the Austin Eighteen only lasted until 1939.
