The Audi R8 V10 was a variant of the Type 4S R8 that debuted for the 2016 model year. The R8 V10 was the equivalent to standard, or base, offering for the R8. These cars were offered in both coupe and convertible body styles, with power coming from a 5.2L mid-mounted V10 engine. This engine had an output of 533hp, which sent power through a 7 speed S-Tronic automatic transmission to all four wheels via Audi's Quattro all wheel drive system. Production of the Type 4S R8 V10 ended in 2018, when it was replaced by the updated R8 V10 Quattro.
