The V10 Performance RWD was built in both coupe and convertible body styles and was powered by a 612hp 5.2L V10 that sent drive to the rear wheels through a 7 speed S-Tronic dual-clutch automatic transmission. With the introduction of the V10 Performance RWD, Audi discontinued the V10 RWD, making the V10 Performance RWD the only rear wheel drive offering for the R8.
