The Audi R8 GT coupe was a limited production variant of the Type 42 R8 that was offered for the 2012 model year. The GT featured a fixed rear wing, as well as front winglets to help distinguish it from a standard model, but the greatest change is the tuned V10 combined with over 100kg in weight reduction. This 5.2L V10 had an output of 552hp and 398 lb ft of torque which was sent to all four wheels through a 6 speed automatic transmission. Just a total of 333 examples of the Audi R8 GT coupe were built before the end of production in 2012.
