The FV603 Saracan was an armored personnel carrier built by Alvis beginning in 1952. These 6x6 military vehicles were also built in command vehicle, artillery, and armored ambulance configurations. The FV603 was powered by a Rolls-Royce inline eight engine that produced 160hp. Production of the Saracan ended in 1976, although they remain in use in some countries to this day.
