About the model

The Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R was a track-focused variant of the 3rd Gen Shelby Mustang that debuted for the 2015 model year. The GT350R benefitted from a range of weight saving measures and upgrades over the standard GT350. Although the same 526hp 5.2L 'Voodoo' V8 engine and 6 speed manual gearbox as found in the GT350 were used, performance was greatly improved by the use of wider tires and various aerodynamic components. Production of the 3rd Gen Ford Shelby Mustang GT350R lasted until 2020.
