This highly modified fifth-generation 2016 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro is a unique, low-mileage, and well-kept example. The current owner spared no expense and left nothing untouched. The drivetrain is led by a 4.0L V6 engine that has been fitted with a Magnuson supercharger and sends power to a five-speed automatic transmission and a locking rear differential. This 4x4 breathes more freely thanks to a Borla exhaust system and stops with greater assistance from RR racing brake calipers with high-performance pads. The vehicle has been lifted 3 ½” using a Toyotec ICON kit. Nitto Ridge Grappler tires mounted on Black Rhino rims along with Bilstein shocks accommodate this SUV's power with a rugged ride. The new owner can be sure the underside of the car is well protected with the presence of a TRD front skid plate and a Cat Security skid plate.
The exterior of the vehicle is the original Quicksand beige color. Tinted windows, a GOBI ladder, a Triax grill, black fender flares, and a TRX 50” LED light bar are a few of the extensive exterior modifications made to this vehicle. The seats are black and beige, surrounded by red stitching and custom red dash and console trim. The front seats are heated and multi-adjustable. Aftermarket lighting has been installed on several parts of the interior for better visibility at night, as well as the addition of a 9” Alpine stereo touch screen. Apple CarPlay works with the Alpine to direct the Rockford Fosgate speaker system. A quiet ride is delivered thanks to the installed Dynamat throughout the SUV.
A recent third-party inspection rated the exterior at 4.9 out of 5 and the interior at 5. A video of the engine running is available in the report.
This 4 Runner is being marketed by a CLASSIC.COM Pro on behalf of its current owner and is located in Dallas, Texas.
About the model
Unveiled in 2010 for its fifth generation, the Toyota 4Runner has become a staple in the line of rugged off-road vehicles from the Japanese manufacturer. By 2015, the car was available in 4 different variants, the SR5, Trail, Limited, and TRD Pro. The TRD Pro variant was the most rugged of the series, featuring a number of mechanical systems to aid with treacherous road conditions, such as the Downhill Assist Control (DAC) and Crawl Control (CRAWL). This generation of 4Runner was powered by a 2.7L inline-four or 4.0L V6 engine. In 2014 the 4Runner was given an update inside and out and is now presented with the Optitron instrument panel and exterior modifications. Toyota is still building the fifth generation of the 4Runner.
