This 2016 911 GT3 RS shows 3,842 miles since new and is powered by a 4.0L flat 6-cylinder engine that sends 500hp to the rear wheels through a PDK automatic transmission. This low-mileage example captures attention with Lava Orange paint, distinctive GT3 RS styling and prominent vents above the front wheels, and large front-facing air intakes. Inside, black leather is accented by Lava Orange stitching, microfiber seat inserts, and seat belts. The included equipment list indicates this track-ready 911 came from the factory with the Sport Chrono Package, ceramic composite brakes, navigation, satellite radio, Bluetooth, illuminated carbon fiber door sill guards, and satin black painted 21 rear/20 front RS wheels among other options. It received an aftermarket exhaust system installed by the dealer in November 2017. Purchased by Ryan Howard of the Philadelphia Phillies, this vehicle was acquired by its current owner in 2017 with approximately 1,400 miles on the odometer. It has a clean CarFax report and is currently located in Greensburg, PA.
The included photos and third-party inspection depict a vehicle in like-new condition, representative of the low-mileage and limited use. Close inspection of the vehicle shows only minor scratches to the underside of the front spoiler. The owner and inspection test drive confirm that the engine and all features of the vehicle operate as designed. The sale includes two color-matched keys, service receipts, owners manual, a GT3 RS scale Lego Technic Ultimate model, and an orange GT3 RS towel set.
This Porsche 911 GT3 RS is being sold through a CLASSIC.COM Pro and is located in Greensburg, PA.
About the model
Porsche launched the 991 GT3 RS at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015. Compared to the 991.1 GT3, the front fenders are now equipped with louvers above the wheels and the rear fenders now include intakes taken from the 911 Turbo, rather than an intake below the rear wing. The 3.8-litre unit found in the 991 GT3 is replaced with a 4.0-litre unit generating a maximum power output of 500 PS (368 kW; 493 hp) and 339 lbft (460 Nm) of torque. The transmission is PDK only. The car is able to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds (0.6 seconds quicker than the 997 GT3 RS 4.0) and to 200 km/h (0124 mph) in 10.9 seconds.
