Fully restored military HMMWV - M1167 REV (Heavy variant)
(not a Hummer)

Everything works as it should and in most cases, better than original.

This truck was commissioned by the Marine Corps as a Tow Missile truck and was purchased from the military in 2023.
Since then, the truck has been fully restored, using OEM parts exclusively, except for add-ons as listed below.
The truck was initially delivered to Black Dog Customs (in Georgia) to thoroughly go through the mechanical issues (it was a non-runner) and a number of new parts were installed. By the time it was delivered to me in New Hampshire, it was fully operational and running like a charm. Further work was done on the brakes, fuel system and A/C (see list bellow)
Once received, it was completely disassembled and every metal part removed was powder coated in flat black, including the front end and bumper. The body was stripped, armor holes were welded shut and the entire truck was repainted in Flat Black Carc substitute (#911). The X-Doors are OEM and were completely taken apart, all metal parts powder coated and reassembled using military approved rivets and brand new automotive glass.
On the inside, everything is new as it was delivered completely stripped. The original high back seats were refurbished with black OEM fabric, the gauges are all new and so are the light switch, start switch and turn signal. The start switch is equipped with a mechanical key switch which retains the original (new) electric switch mechanism. (It is known that after-market keyed switches are the primary source of electrical issues and have caused numerous fires).
The tunnel area is insulated with a layer of closed-cell silicon foam as well as a composite wood plate covered with a rubber surface. The floor and firewall areas are covered with sound deadening and silicon foam backed floor mats that are custom made to fit perfectly.
All glass (windshield and doors) is brand new (automotive)

This unit boasts an original armored back wall separating the cab from the rear bed area, with sliding armored doors.
