This 2008 Dodge Charger SRT-8 is powered by a 6.1L HEMI V8 engine driving 425hp to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission with Autostick. It is painted Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, complemented by a matching Dark Slate Gray leather interior with suede inserts. The SRT-8 package includes distinctive design features like a functional hood scoop, SRT body trim, 20 aluminum SRT wheels, and dual bright exhaust tips. Underneath the Darth Vader-like exterior, is all-speed traction control, electronic stability, performance steering, and four-wheel performance Brembo anti-lock brakes with red calipers. This example was ordered with dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats, and remote start. The accident-free CarFax report shows registration by three owners in Nevada before the selling dealer acquired the vehicle in July 2023. It is currently located in Dallas, TX.
A third-party inspection and detailed photos show a well-cared-for vehicle that has minimal wear that would be expected for its age and mileage. The exterior is clean and the inspection found only a minor paint chip on the passenger side exterior mirror and light scratches on the wheels. The interior is clean and the seats and trim are in good condition. There is a burn mark noted in the headliner and no noticeable or unpleasant odors were detected. The car rides on two Hercules and two Prinx tires, all with an excellent tread depth of 11/32. A road test noted that the engine, transmission, and mechanical features work as they were originally designed. Included in the sale are two sets of keys and the original owner's manual.
This Dodge Charger SRT-8 is being sold through a CLASSIC.COM Pro and is located in Dallas, TX.

About the model
After seventeen years of front-wheel-drive only, Dodge reintroduced the Charger in 2005 for the 2006 model year as the sixth generation. This generation was available only as a four-door sedan using the Chrysler LX platform. The design was intended to be reminiscent of the Chargers of the 1960s and 1970s and the taillights harkened back to that era, as did the new stamped hood and side panels. This generation was available with V6 and V8 engine options coupled to automatic transmissions, as well as all-wheel drive (AWD). Production of the sixth generation lasted until 2010, when it was replaced by the Seventh Generation Dodge Charger.
