The 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, a member of the 997 generation of 911, was a convertible sports car produced between 2004 and 2008. This base model was powered by a rear-mounted naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six cylinder engine that generated 325 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. Power was sent to the rear wheels through a standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional 5-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. While the Carrera S variant had a more powerful engine and larger brakes, this 911 Carrera was very much a driver-focused performance car.
