Items included:
The good:
Had 147,000 miles on it
3rd owner in 2023
Odometer works and gets 27 mpg
Original cover (boot) for the top, when down.
Top was recovered (2nd owner)
Back quarter window guides replaced (factory rollers)
Back glass window replaced (2nd owner)
Both convertible gear motors good, opens and closes normally
Painted original color early 2024
Recently replaced the radiator, hoses, drive axels, front sway bar links, and tires.
New distributor, wires and plugs this year.
Radio, cassette and CD all working.
Negatives:
Two door woofers bad (crackling noises)
Antenna motor failed in down position (not original)
Patched center console arm rest
Driver visor cover splitting
Rear view mirror dim lever broken
Rear window defrost heater not connected
I also have new coilovers for it, in the box.
At 70 yrs old it's too difficult to get in and out of, and a truck would be more useful to me. I have added no mods and car appears to be all original except the radiator and normal wear items, like tires, brakes and battery.
Ever day I drive it and explore the countryside (I'm retired)
I get many compliments on it and hate to part with it, so I'm not in a hurry to sell her. She is so much fun to drive.
The 2nd owner bought it in south Florida and he lived in Jacksonville. I have had it in central Florida since so it seems to be in amazing condition considering the hot environment.
