If you are looking to purchase a Ferrari F355, don't just look for the cheapest price or even if it has a manual over an F1 gearbox. Make sure you understand that these cars require a lot of maintenance to keep them in peak condition. This car has the records to prove that a great deal of money and effort have gone in to maintaining its condition. Compare this car with any that have sold online in recent years in terms of its mileage, condition and service and you will see that this car is in exceptional condition compared to lesser priced examples. Given that it is one of only 100 uniquely equipped Serie Fiorano Spiders built, it also has future potential to increase in value compared with its more common siblings. I will deal with a reasonable offer but it must reflect the investment that has been made over my ownership to keep this car in peak condition. This car had been a dream for me to own. I hope to pass it on to someone who feels the same way and dreams to experience one of the great Ferraris.
I purchased the car in 2007 with approximately 8,000 miles. The car has been stored in a climate-controlled garage and never driven in the rain since my ownership. The nose and front facia as well as the rear edges of the fenders and rear quarter panels are protected with a heavy duty ppf film that is in excellent condition. The nose has no paint chips. The passenger side door edge has a very small and shallow door ding approximately 1/8 inch wide. The paint is still on the metal and is hard to spot. The body, paint, wheels and leather interior are in excellent condition. Sticky plastics were addressed in 2019 by Sticky RX and MaCarbon. Both companies did beautiful restoration work. I can provide more detailed photos of their work upon request. This web site can't always figure out that a photo of a car part is part of a car and therefore will reject the photo.
Among the features seen on the exclusive Serie Fiorano cars are Competizione-derived Fiorano suspension pack, with wide track, stiffer springs, lowered ride height and a stouter anti-roll bar; cross-drilled and ventilated brake discs and competition brake pads in red calipers; Competizione-sourced steering rack; Challenge rear grilles; enameled Scuderia Ferrari shields; suede-covered steering wheel; numerous carbon fiber elements such as inserts on the center console, shift paddles and door sills. Of the 100 Serie Fiorano units delivered to the U.S. market, 74 were delivered with the F1 transmission and 26 with the six-speed manual.
This well-kept and sparingly driven # 11 Serie Fiorano is one of the rare final examples of a classic, naturally aspirated, V8 Ferrari. Among the equipment is a power top, power windows, air conditioning, Ferrari factory radio with 5 disk CD changer and power assistance on the aforementioned competition-oriented steering setup and four-wheel crossed drilled and ventilated disc braking system. All Serie Fioranos came with a three-piece luggage set consisting of two suitcases and a garment bag. The bags are constructed of black leather exterior and buckskin interior and feature debossed prancing horse logos. The luggage is unused. Also included are all original manuals, tool kit, tire inflation kit, red Ferrari branded silk car cover, seat covers and steering wheel cover; plus a red master key fob and one regular key fob. There are also white Ferrari branded work gloves and additional tools located inside a small storage pouch adjacent to the parking brake handle. I have a great deal of owner documentation to go along with the car including the window sticker.
The only known modification to the car is the addition of a Tubi exhaust system which was added before I owned the car. I do however, have the original Ferrari branded catalytic converters. I also have the original set of Pirelli P Zero tires unmounted if someone wanted to have them mounted for date code originality if showing the car in a concourse (see Photos). The car currently rides with Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
The car had an engine out service in June, 2020 and recently serviced in April 2024, and most recently on October, 2024 installing a new Ferrari clutch, by Rosso Service; Rosso Service 7 Newport Dr. Suite A Forest Hill, MD 21050. You are welcome to contact them and speak to Scott Langford as to the overall condition and originality of the car.
This car has been treated with great care during my ownership. I have done my best to ensure that this vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition however, I am not a dealer and am not in any way implying or providing a warranty on this vehicle or the services performed on this vehicle.
Note. Service records to verify all work is shown in photos.
