As only the 2nd owner (past 23 years) of this Classic 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera (993ii) is one of approximately 567 Targas produced for the North American market for the model year and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle and one of the last model years that is still oil cooled.
My first wife is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Boxter Red leather upholstery, the car is equipped with a limited-slip differential, 17″ two-piece Targa wheels, power windows, powered adjustable driver and passenger seats, original Porsche CD stereo, a power-operated glass panoramic moonroof panel with electric sunshade, cruise control, and air conditioning.
The seller purchased the car in 2002 from local authorized Porsche dealer and is only the second owner. This 993 Targa shows 70,400 km (44,000 mi) and is now offered, the owner’s manual, service records only at a Porsche dealership, an air compressor, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Quebec title in the seller’s name. This car has been very well cared for, but now with young kids, bicycles, no car seats that can fit, simply no time, the wife is telling me it's time to move on!
The 993 Targa was based on the convertible bodyshell and featured a revised roof with a lifting and sliding glass center section as opposed to the removable top found on earlier 911 Targa models.
Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U), fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, rear fender guards, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a “basket handle” fixed rear spoiler with an integrated third brake light, and dual exhaust outlets.
The car has never been accidented but has had the front bumper touched up and a scratch in the body in passenger rear wheel well was resprayed under current ownership. All original parts.
