This 1994 RUF RCT is reportedly the sole example built by the Pfaffenhausen, Germany-based tuner on a 964 RS chassis. It was subsequently utilized as a development car and press vehicle.
Power is provided by a turbocharged and intercooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine (factory rated at 370 horsepower) with Bosch Motronic engine management, paired with a RUF six-speed manual transaxle.
Exterior features include: a Polar Silver Metallic finish, faux fog lights, Side marker lamps, Blue-lens reverse lights, and an RCT-branded decklid with a whale-tail spoiler. A spare color-matched whale-tail spoiler is included in the sale. 18-inch RUF/Speedline five-spoke wheels are fitted with 235/40 front and 265/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. RUF modified the suspension and brakes, with a strut tower brace in the front trunk and black-painted calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
Interior features include: Black leather-trimmed Recaro Pole Position seats reupholstered with tartan plaid cloth inserts, Reduced cabin insulation compared to standard Carrera, and Factory absence of airbags, air conditioning, or rear seats. Manual crank windows, red door pull straps and seat belts, Blaupunkt Montreux stereo, and RUF-branded sill plates. The leather-wrapped RUF three-spoke steering wheel frames modified VDO green-letter instrumentation, including: The six-digit odometer shows 41k kilometers (25k miles).
