1993 911 (964) C2. The car was acquired by the previous owner to be a spec race car our in the Northeast. The car was purchased and built by Intersport Performance of McLean VA. $95k was the original build cost, which included an engine rebuild, MCS 3 way coilovers, spec weld cage with door bars and a full chassis build up to handle track duty.
After each racing season, the car and engine was refreshed for the next season. When the previous owner moved out west, he had it made "street legal" by BlackForest. They installed a stock header and cat setup as well as ran checks on the car.
When we purchased the car, we decided to "soften" it to make it more like a "RS" car with alcantara headliner, dash, pillars, new Sparco QRT-K carbon composite seats, carpets, center console and rear shelf.
We also swapped the springs out for a lower weight (no aero or slicks now), refreshed the brakes, cryo-blasted the underside, and had the whole car repainted to look fresh. There is no A/C or radio. This is basically a race car that can be driven on the street and at car shows. And it still performs extremely strong on track.
There is a branded title due to a the speedo not working for a period of time in Iowa before our ownership. There was also an accident listed on the CarFax but I have no information about that.
