This highly modified 1992 Honda Civic CX is the product of a two-year refurbishment by the owner. The engine and suspension are highly modified from stock and include a host of upgrades (See photos for a complete list of the build). The engine is a turbocharged inline four-cylinder with VTECH that was custom-built for the car, and the owner installed an intercooler on the motor as well. It also features a custom exhaust system that exits through the hood. The transmission is also modified, as is the tuned suspension, front and back, with an extra set of springs included in the sale. The interior was left stock with the exception of a three gauge pod mounted on the dash. The car is located in Chesapeake, VA.
A third-party inspection of the vehicle was performed, as was photography. Its results are positive overall, with some notes to be considered. The photos show evidence of damage on the underside of the trunk where the spare tire is located (see the underside photo). However, the inspection also shows no damage to the rear seam of the vehicle. The exterior, despite a presentable green paint, does have some signs of wear, with a few small dents and scratches. Carfax did report an accident in 2005 with damage to the left front of the vehicle. The exterior scored a 4.2 out of 5 during the inspection. The interior remains in good condition with some signs of wear, such as a stain on the rear seat and some scratching on the plastic trim, as well as an inoperable dome light. The interior is rated at 3.8 out of 5.
This car is being marketed by a CLASSIC.COM Pro on behalf of its current owner and is located in Chesapeake, VA.
