Details
This 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera has 111,292 miles since new and is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.2L flat six cylinder engine driving the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. Finished in Velvet Red over beige leather, this example has a power-operated sunroof, power windows and mirrors, air conditioning and body color matched Fuchs wheels. An Alpine head unit includes a cassette deck and trunk-mounted CD changer. This two-owner vehicle was originally garaged in the San Francisco Bay area and moved to its current home in Nevada in 2004.
The third-party photos and inspection report present a clean, original 34-year-old vehicle. Noted are faded paint, small scratches, and interior wear in expected areas, including the drivers seat bolsters, carpet, and floor mats. The inspection also notes that the A/C is inoperable, there is some minor surface rust on the underside as well as evidence of past engine oil seepage. The CarFax report shows regular service between 1999 and 2016, replacement of the brakes in 2004, engine cooling lines in 2013 and the washer pump in 2016. While the car is not driven currently, the inspection showed the engine starts, runs, and shifts as designed. The sunroof and all interior accessories (radio, power windows, and mirrors) also operate as they should. The CarFax report indicates minor damage to the rear of the vehicle in 2009, and it was last registered in 2019. Included in the sale are the original owners manual, a black front-end nose cover, and a battery tender.

Initially, the Carrera 3.2 Coupe featured Porsche's 915 gearbox, but starting in 1987, these cars were fitted with Getrag's G50 manual gearbox, which was a marked upgrade from the 915.
