I consider this to be one of the best luxury cars made by Mercedes Benz. We have owned it since October 1998...27 years. It has always been garaged. That's why the external condition of the car is in such great condition. We have 3 other Mercedes, so one had to go. Before listing, we had our mechanic go over the car from head to toe. He assured us everything is in working condition. Well, I have to admit the clock has it's moments. It does work, but periodically. He did recommend that we remove and replace the drag link or center link and tie rod or end at the front of the car. Which we had him do. A pretty simple procedure. Parts by the way, came from Germany. At one point we removed the security system because it had a tendency to malfunction. It was replaced with a Vector system. We also had to replace the Freon, as required by law. The car has all its original parts. The tires have quite a few miles left on them.. We just had the battery replaced. And it has had the oil and filter changed. It is ready to go. Unlike the new cars today, it doesn't drive you crazy to figure out which button does what. And I almost forgot, it is equipped with a SONY 10 CD disc player. You have your choice of your favorite music on a long distant trip without having to change a disc or a station. And it has custom made sheepskin covers on both front seats. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch.
