This classic truck runs strong and smooth! Word of mouth says it was towed behind a large RV for much of its life, so the mileage (whatever it really is) does not reflect the work of the motor (I removed the tow hooks after I bought it). The body is solid and is in good shape. The temperature gauge on the dash was not working, so a standalone gauge was installed. It has a good stereo cd player with a good sound.
I have not used it much beyond going to the dump and back monthly, but it performed flawlessly in traveling by expressway to a town 60 miles distant. This long-bed truck runs smoothly and is fuel-efficient (30+ mpg). It has a trailer hitch with electrical hookup and has towed trailers of furniture or yard trash a few times. Since we live in the desert, rust is non-existent and not a problem on this truck.
Often when I am driving it, a passerby will comment, "If you ever want to sell that truck, I'd love to buy it! - I should have taken names and phone numbers! For someone looking for a classic truck to soup up, or one that is simple and easy to work on, or for some one just looking for a reliable, multi-use truck, I don't think you can go wrong!
