This Chrysler TC is possibly the oldest surviving example and has the distinction of being a documented Pre-production Prototype. VIN # ZC2FP1106KB200229, finished in Royal Cabernet Pearl Coat & matching leather interior, finished construction in Italy, June of 1988 in Torino & Sparone with final finishing at Maserati’s Milan Innocenti complex. Stamping date on rack & pinion shroud show October 1987. Original 160bhp Chrysler 2.2 Turbo II with intercooler and A-413 3 speed automatic transmission.
Assigned as a Chrysler Training Center vehicle to the Orlando, Florida Chrysler Training Center Facility and utilized to train Chrysler Dealership Personnel on the vehicle.
Purchased by the Chrysler Training Center Manager when retired from service in 1991, he registered his wife as the first owner, Chrysler Customer Relations providing the gold plaque with her name , which is attached on the center console still. She was the former Regional Director of the TC Club of America. Modifications by the Robinsons included the changing to a Mopar Performance turbocharger and a Mopar Performance cam timing gear. (The originals are included with the parts that go with the car.)
The second, (current) owner is the wife of a former Chrysler Training Instructor and has cared for the car since 2012.

76,740 original miles. Correct factory maintenance has been followed. Including the specified timing belt replacement @ 60k miles with head gasket replaced concurrently. BF Goodrich 215/50 R-15 tires show DOT date code of May 2014. 7/32nds on the front and 8/32nds on the rear. Oil & filter change completed in preparation for sale. Prior oil changes every 3000k miles or 6 months, with Mobil1 10-30. Mopar oil filter 05281090AB used exclusively by current owner. A/C converted to R-134a when evaporator and receiver/dryer replaced. Drives & shifts well, with no squeaks or rattles or leaks.
Clear North Carolina title in the 2nd owner’s name. Vehicle resides in Ocean Isle Beach, NC.
Deficiencies: Stitching has failed on center console, and is beginning to fail on the top corner of the driver’s seat. (photos). Radio sound system: The cassette portion plays but am/fm produces no sound. Electric antenna works sporadically. Intermittent wiper switch has failed, allowing only high speed . A replacement switch is included. Overall. excellent original paint, however the clear coat finish has begun to fail on the top of the front bumper,(photo), and it wears the honest wear and tear of 37 years which is documented in the photos. The vehicle wears a replacement hood as there is no “Paintless Dent Doctor” in our area to repair the ding in it from a plastic cooler in the original hood.
