This 1987 Toyota 4×4 is great example of original Toyota quality that has not been modified or damaged. It is registered in South Carolina today but spent almost all of its 37 years in dry California air. Although it is not perfect, the truck is in incredible condition for a 4th Generation Toyota Pickup/Hilux of this age (comments and compliments received every time we take it out). The truck's body is in great, with the original side body graphics and Toyota tailgate lettering. It has blue/gray interior, and is powered by the famous, bulletproof 22R Engine (a 2.4-liter inline-four) mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include factory Toyota 15″ aluminum wheels with brand new BF Goodrich A/T KO2 Tires (also included are silver steel wheels) , front disc brakes, manually locking front hubs, air conditioning and a difficult to find camper top/bed cover (that can be sold by the buyer for $750+). This truck was acquired by me in 2023 as a farm/dog hauling vehicle but my wife cannot drive a manual transmission (and I'm done trying to convince her to try). The battery was replaced in April 2024 (5 months old) and the truck remains in my garage today. Sad to let it go.
