This 1985 LHD (Left Hand Drive) Land Rover 110 was refurbished in the Sultanate of Oman and then imported in 2021. The truck is currently located and registered as an Antique in Florida (with a clean Florida title showing a 1986 model year). The Sultanate of Oman has a tropical desert climate with warm temperatures year-round which drastically limits rust on cars. This truck is powered by a 3.5-liter V8 (equipped with 2 SU carburetors) mated to the LT95 four speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
This Land Rover comes with the original refurbished engine and transmission, front discs and rear drums, and a refreshed interior (including new beige upholstery and a new steering wheel). Exterior details include a LED lighting upgrade, folding side steps and a rear ladder. The original wheels were power coated and are mounted with BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A LT285/75R16. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, inward-facing rear jump seats, dynamat sound insulation material on the floors, two spare wheels (with front and rear spare tire carriers), and power steering. The heater and set belts were also replaced.
The truck come with an odometer displaying both mph and km/h. The true mileage is unknown. The odometer currently shows less than 3,000 miles since this Land Rover was refurbished.
Engine oil, Gearbox oil, Transfer Case oil and the rear differential fluid were all changed in 2024. A new battery was installed as well.
This Land Rover currently runs well but as with any antique car it will require some work in areas not touched by the refurbishment process. The truck has not been inspected by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair and has not passed a California emissions test.
