About this 1983 Porsche 911 SC

VIN: WP0ZZZ91ZDS101111

1983 PORSCHE 911 SC
VIN: WP0ZZZ91ZDS101111
36,592 MILES
Here is a rare opportunity to purchase a stunning, well sorted example of a 1983 Porsche 911 SC Coupe with only 36,592 miles recorded. This is a ROW (rest of the world) Porsche originally produced for the West German market. The car was exported to the United States and the current owner purchased it from a private party in 2014. He has driven it approximately 200 miles per year since he purchased it.
The car looks fantastic and has no dents or scratches; the original glass is in great shape. This is a rather unique vehicle. The exterior color is paint to sample (non-standard factory production color) Meteor Gray Metallic. It received a high quality repaint in the same color approximately fifteen years ago on its accident free and rust free body. The gray and black full leather interior is leather to sample (non-standard factory interior), including two tone leather sport seats, dash, door panels and console - all of which are in excellent shape. It is powered by the original 3.0 liter flat six cylinder air cooled engine connected to its original 5-speed manual transmission.
The car is well optioned and includes a rare heated windshield, limited slip differential, tinted glass, electric right outside mirror, black interior headliner, sport shock absorbers, air conditioning (which blows cold) and an electric sunroof. This 911 SC also has several noteworthy upgrades. Two Weber 40 – ida3c carburetors replace the factory fuel injection system for better performance. Also wheels have been upgraded to 17”x 7.5” front and 17”x 9” rear Linea Corsa Fuch style wheels with Continental Extreme Contact tires that have been driven only 1,000 miles. Adjustable spring plates have been added, which give the car a lower and wider stance. The front valance panel was upgraded to a later model Carrera one with integrated fog lights. Lastly, the exhaust system has been upgraded to a more aggressive sounding unit.
The car is in outstanding condition and comes with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, owner’s manuals, all service records since 2008, and a car cover. Recent service includes new rocker shafts and seals, valve adjustment, rebuilt carburetors, wheel alignment, fuel pump and a new battery.
