1978 Jeep CJ7 Golden Eagle. Texas Jeep that was completely restored in 2014 then purchased by an automotive dealer and stored in his facility until the current owner purchased the Jeep in August of 2016. Since the restoration the Jeep has been kept under cover in a garage, driven 4,500 miles on sunny weather days, and never taken off road. During the restoration everything was repaired, reconditioned, or replaced to maintain the Jeep’s original condition. The original AC unit was not replaced on the Jeep but the heat works great. The Jeep’s undercarriage was undercoated in black during the restoration. The jeep includes the original hard top and doors, along with an aftermarket BestTop soft, Bimini top, owner’s manual, brochures, and spec sheets. 304 CID AMC with 3-speed manual transmission. The original 2 barrel carburetor and manifold intake was replaced with a 4 barrel Holley and a Edelbrock Torker AMC intake during the restoration. Other Jeep options include: power assisted brakes, front disc brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, tachometer and clock, five 15" x 8" spoked steel wheels, wheel lip extensions, rear swing away spare tire carrier, Levi’s front bucket and rear bench seats, full carpet, aftermarket vintage Jeep AM/FM radio with USB adapters for mobile phone. Working gauges, dome light, and panel lights with the possible exception on temp gauge (currently trying to resolve). Mechanically the Jeep runs and drives great and the 4-wheel drive is operational as well. For additional questions please e-mail steve@together-works.com
