About this 1976 Porsche 911 Turbo Standard

VIN: 93006800358

Morris Brothers Collectibles is Proud to Present this stunning 1976 Porsche 3.0L 930 Turbo Carrera. For many, the holy grail of 911's come with the Turbo badge adorned to the rear end. The 930 was the very first iteration of the legend and those in the know will tell you, they are unlike any car you've driven before. The low RPM's allow you casually drive this beauty but once you let that needle creep higher, you'll find yourself plastered to your seat. Nicknamed the "Widow Maker" in the late 70's this car quickly cemented itself as a legend in the automotive world.

Year: 1976
Make: Porsche
Model: 930
Trim: Carrera Turbo
Transmission: 4 Speed Manual

Exterior: Sepia Brown
Interior: Tan Leather

This 930 is special in so many ways and the most important to me is this stunning Sepia Brown paint. In the years following it's release, many owners opted to change the color of Sepia cars and unfortunately, at one point, this car was subject to just that. Thanks to its current owner, this car was returned to it's former glory undergoing a full glass out, engine out restoration. The car was refinished in its original Sepia brown, the motor underwent a full rebuild, the suspension was overhauled to bring it to a euro spec ride height and the interior was completely redone in soft tan leather. The car originally came with Comfort seats but the current owner opted to fit sport seats but both sets come with the sale and both were reupholstered to a high standard. A full list of what was done during the resto is available in the gallery.

The current owner also opted to modernize this car with a Kuehl air conditioning system making this a true joy to drive even on the warmer days. The car has roughly 1,000 miles since the restoration was completed in 2016. Upon receiving the car at our showroom, we lubricated window tracks and door latches, rebuilt axles, diagnosed and fixed a tail light issue, performed a brake flush and aligned the vehicle.

The early 930's were non intercooled and give a much more raw driving experience than the second generation that upped displacement to 3.3L and added an intercooler. If you are looking for a car that needs nothing, presents like a museum piece and drives like a off cheetah... this one is one to look at.
