Chassis & Frame:
The chassis was stripped, treated with red oxide primer, and refinished in satin black. All bolts underwent a full zinc plating process, while the side profiles, windscreen frame, under-bed crossmembers, and rear corner cappings have been galvanised for longevity.

Suspension & Steering:
A new silentblock kit has been installed throughout the chassis and leaf springs, accompanied by four new GME-brand leaf springs, new shock absorbers, and new rear axle lowering straps. Steering benefits from two new steering spheres, a refreshed ball joint kit, and professional realignment.

Braking System:
The braking system has been entirely overhauled with a new master pump, hydraulic lines, brake cylinders, and shoes, ensuring safe and consistent stopping power.

Electrical System:
A brand-new wiring loom has been installed, alongside a new battery, period-correct headlights, indicator units, and a new chromed number plate light.

Engine & Drivetrain:
The original 2.25-litre diesel engine has been fully rebuilt, with new pistons, segments, connecting rod bearings, and main bearings. The diesel injectors and fuel pump have been professionally restored. Supporting upgrades include a new parallel heater kit and new diesel pipes and hoses. Mechanically, the car drives smoothly and reliably through its manual gearbox.

Exhaust:
A complete new exhaust system with silencer and support bracket kit has been fitted.

Wheels & Tyres:
Fitted with five new Goodyear Wrangler 205/80R16 tyres, mounted on restored white-painted steel wheels.

Interior:
The front De-Luxe seats and rear side benches have been newly upholstered. The dashboard is newly trimmed, and the doors have been refitted with three-panel trims. Period-correct Series floor mats, new lever knobs, and a fire extinguisher complete the interior.

Canvas Hood:
An English-style canvas hood has been fitted with a centrally mounted spare wheel plate, correct to factory style.

Lighting & Badging:
All exterior lighting units have been replaced. Emblems and badges have been faithfully reproduced.
