About this 1974 Ford Bronco

VIN: U15GLU32743

Details

This 1974 Ford Bronco is powered by a 302ci V8 and backed by an automatic transmission that sends power through a twin-stick transfer case to all four wheels. This SUV is the recipient of a black repaint and is accompanied by black and gray Corbeau cloth and leather seats. The vehicle has power disc brakes and power steering featuring an open top. This highly modified SUV has been given fuel injection, a fiberglass body, a roll cage, a 4-inch lift, Fierce Elite bumpers, a Warn Zeon winch, a custom stereo, Autometer gauges, and 15x12 Mickey Thompson wheels. The odometer shows 878 miles however, the true mileage of the vehicle is unknown. The current owner purchased the vehicle in 2017 and commissioned a refurbishment, and it is currently located in Corolla, North Carolina.

As evidenced by the third-party photographs and walkaround video, this restored and modified Bronco remains in good condition. The fiberglass body and black paint show little blemish, and the Corbeau Baja seats remain similar. The leaf springs do show light surface rust. The available video of the engine running exhibits a smooth operating motor. Overall the condition of the SUV can be easily witnessed, and the owner has receipts showing the work performed in 2017. Included in the sale are the winch controller and EFI control unit, along with various instruction manuals and a full storage cover.

This Ford Bronco is being sold through a CLASSIC.COM Pro and is located in Corolla, North Carolina.

About the model

The first generation Ford Bronco was introduced for the 1966 model year. This first generation of Bronco was offered as a four-wheel drive compact SUV. Initially, three main body styles were available, SUV, pickup, and open-top roadster, but due to slow sales, the roadster was discontinued after 1968, and the pickup was discontinued after 1972. The first generation Bronco was fitted with two inline six (2.8L, 3.3L) and two V8 (4.7L, 4.9L) engine options. The most notable early Broncos were the Sport option package and top-of-the-line Ranger trim level. Production of the first-generation Bronco lasted until 1977 when it was replaced by the Second Generation Ford Bronco.
