Pristine 1970 Porsche 911T "Survivor"– Documented with Just 15,106 Miles Since New
This remarkably preserved 1970 Porsche 911T, a matching-numbers example, offers an incredible journey through time, with just over 15,000 miles on the odometer. Originally purchased by a single owner and held in static storage for over three decades, this car was "recently discovered" as an unrestored, unmodified time capsule with truly rare and desirable options, colors, and specifications. Its originality and well-preserved state make it a prime example for Porsche purists and collectors.
The car's journey began in the hands of its first owner, who meticulously maintained it until it was acquired in 2016. At that time, comprehensive documentation confirmed its authenticity, and careful servicing followed to ensure its mechanical soundness. some of which included: a full fluid flush, new urethane-coated fuel tank installation, exhaust manifold gasket replacement, and oil cooler lines replacement.
Since then, further mechanical work has been conducted by renowned specialists, including Klub Sport Racing, preserving its performance and drivability while honoring its original components. Highlights of the maintenance performed include:
2019: A thorough rebuild and tune of the carburetors, along with a comprehensive leak test showing impressively low engine leak rates. Additionally, new OEM classic shocks were fitted, as well as spark plugs, hood struts, and a full engine service (valve adjustments, sump gaskets, brake purge).
2021 and Beyond: Routine care with an oil change and brake fluid bleed, as well as a recent (2023) carburetor adjustment, another round of spark plugs, a leak-down test, and additional tuning.
Most recently, as of November 2023, an oil change, wiper blade replacement, and new battery installation were completed to ensure this 911T is ready for its next chapter.
